What it covers
Clutches, gearboxes, CV joints, tailshafts and differentials transfer power to the road. We work on manual and automatic, including dual-clutch and CVT, and diagnose before quoting because the same symptom can come from several places.
Signs you need it
- Engine revs rise without the car accelerating
- Shuddering as the clutch engages
- Clicking on full lock, usually a CV joint
- Whining, humming or a clunk when you take off
- Harsh, delayed or flaring automatic shifts
What we do
- Clutch kits, flywheels, slave and master cylinders
- Manual and automatic transmission fluid services
- Dual-clutch and CVT servicing to specification
- CV joints, boots, tailshafts and universal joints
- Differential inspection, oil changes and seal replacement
- Road test to confirm the fault and again once repaired

Common questions
Does an automatic need a fluid change?
Most do, at an interval the manufacturer sets — even the ones marketed as sealed for life. Old fluid is a common cause of harsh or flaring shifts.
Is a clicking CV joint urgent?
It should be booked in promptly. A torn boot lets grease out and grit in, and once the joint is worn it can fail completely.
