What it covers
Brakes wear as a system. Pads wear against rotors, rotors thin and warp, fluid absorbs moisture and loses its boiling point, and calipers seize. We measure what is left rather than guessing, and tell you what genuinely needs replacing.
Signs you need it
- Squealing, grinding or a metallic scrape when you brake
- The steering wheel or pedal shudders as you slow down
- The pedal feels soft, spongy, or sinks toward the floor
- The car pulls to one side under braking
- The brake warning light is on
What we do
- Pads and rotors measured against minimum thickness
- Rotors machined where there is enough material, replaced where there is not
- Calipers, slides and hoses checked for seizing and leaks
- Brake fluid tested for moisture and replaced when needed
- Handbrake adjustment and rear drum inspection where fitted
- Road test before the car goes back to you

Common questions
Can I just do the pads?
Sometimes. If the rotors are above minimum thickness and running true, pads alone are fine. If they are thin or warped, new pads on old rotors will shudder and wear out early.
Is grinding urgent?
Yes. Grinding usually means the pad material is gone and metal is contacting the rotor. Stopping distances suffer and the repair gets more expensive the longer it goes.
