What it covers
Once a car is out of its warranty period you are no longer tied to the manufacturer schedule. A minor service covers oil, filter and a full safety inspection. A major adds the items that fall due less often — plugs, additional filters, fluids and belts.
Signs you need it
- It has been more than twelve months or the sticker is well past due
- Oil looks black on the dipstick or the level is low
- Fuel economy has dropped or the engine feels rougher than it was
- You have just bought the car and do not know its history
What we do
- Oil and filter change with the correct grade for your engine
- Filters, plugs and fluids assessed and replaced where due
- Full safety inspection — brakes, steering, suspension, tyres, lights
- Cooling system, belts and hoses checked for condition
- Battery and charging system tested
- A written report sorting findings into urgent, soon and can wait
Booking it in
We have usually got something available this week. Ring (03) 9748 9500 with your rego and what the car is doing, or send the booking form. You get the price in writing before anything starts, and if we find something extra we stop and call.
We are at Factory 1/184/190 Old Geelong Rd, Hoppers Crossing, and look after drivers across Truganina, Werribee, Point Cook, Tarneit, Wyndham Vale.
Common questions
Minor or major — which do I need?
It depends on the kilometres and when the bigger items were last done. Ring us with your rego and what you know of its history and we will tell you honestly.
Do I have to do everything you find?
No. You approve the quote before we start, and anything we find mid-job gets a phone call, not a line on the invoice.
